The King's Ransom
Richard the Lionheart has been captured and his mother has come seeking ransom money from the Lord Henry do Bohun of Caldicot.
There will be a minumum of 10 costumed re-enactors and half a dozen period tents.
Living history displays will be open consistently from 11am to 5pm on both days and Eleanor of Aquitaine will address the public, seeking their loyalty to the captive King.
There will be military displays of the soldiery of Caldicot Castle of the year 1193.
The days events will conclude with an ARCHERY COMPETITION.
