The Plantagenet Medieval Society, have been performing all over Britain and Europe for over 40 years, their tournament show although often copied has never been bettered. 14th century knights from the time just after the epic English victories at Crecy and Poitier, bringing their sumptuously dressed ladies, to watch them, take part in a foot tournament .

Queen's Diamond Jubilee CelebrationsCome along to Caldicot Castle on Monday 4th June and celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee presented by Caldicot Events Committee.

The event will start at 2.00pm and will be a free event, evening entertainment until the lighting of the Jubilee Beacon at 10.15 followed by a firework display.

Trouvere Medieval MinstrelsYorkshire-based medieval music group Trouvère have been performing medieval music for over ten years. They appear regularly at English Heritage events and have performed as far afield as Switzerland and the south of France. One of a tiny handful of groups in the UK making a living out of medieval music, they are true wandering minstrels for a modern age!

There is a small living history camp with the Mercenary Bowmen, wizzo the magician will entertain and will also bring his fire breathing dragon ‘Bakewell’ who is said to be 300 years old!
